We are pleased to inform you that every student, Kindergarten through 5th grade, at Ethel F. Beckford/Richmond Elementary School has access to TicketToRead.com. TicketToRead.com is an interactive website that provides elementary students with tools to make reading a more pleasant activity and encourages them to improve their reading skills. After logging in, students enter a personalized clubhouse; here they select different passages that have been assigned to them by their teacher according to reading level. User ID and Password are available from the classroom teacher.
Students are already using Riverdeep, FCAT Explorer, and FCAT Simulation at school. Please continue to use them at home. Through these free programs, your child has opportunities to practice or review math, reading, and science skills taught at school or learn and apply new skills aligned to national and state standards on any computer connected to the internet. You can find Riverdeep Destination Success, FCAT Explorer and other learning resources on the Internet at http://www2.dadeschools.net/ or TicketToRead.com.
