Log on to the Student Portal at http://www2.dadeschools.net/ to access student grades, computer learning programs, and many more resources.   Students use their student ID as their user name.  Their password is their two digit birth month and 4 digit birth year and PW at the end.  Example 1234567 for user name and password 052002PW.

Explorelearning Gizmos are interactive, online simulations that drive conceptual understanding in Mathematics and Science.  Designed for grades 3-12,  Gizmos lets students of all ability levels develop conceptual science by manipulating key variables, generating and testing hypotheses, and engaging in extensive “what-if” experimentation.

Practice Makes Progress! The Florida Department of Education built FCAT Explorer to provide practice to help students grades 3rd – 5th to make real progress in their reading, mathematics, and science skills needed in the classroom, on the FCAT, and in life.

Riverdeep Destination Math and Destination Reading for Kindergarten through 5th grades are highly interactive programs with full animation and audio support throughout the lessons in every unit.

TicketToRead.com is an interactive website that provides elementary school students with tools to make reading a more pleasant activity and encourages them to improve their reading skills. After logging in students enter a personalized clubhouse; here they select different passages that are assigned to them by their teacher according to the appropriate reading level. 

The FCAT Simulation Software TestTools
You may checkout FCAT Simulation Software for 3-5th grades from the Media Center to install a copy of the software on your home computer system.  You checkout the appropriate grade level CD-ROM software like a library book  and download it on your home computer system, then return the CD-ROM back to the Media Center.
